Over 400 Hajj Flights Successfully Depart Madinah Airport For Pilgrims' Safe Return
Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah has efficiently handled 402 Hajj flights, ensuring pilgrims from various countries returned home safely after this year's Hajj. The airport managed a total of 996 direct international flights to 44 destinations worldwide, operated by 50 international airlines. Among these, 402 flights were specifically for Hajj pilgrims.
The operations at the airport were overseen by Tibah Airports Operation Company, the official operator of Madinah Airport. The company worked closely with relevant authorities to ensure smooth flight scheduling and timely operational approvals. This coordination facilitated the orderly departure of both pilgrims and other travelers.

Special attention was given to streamlining the departure process for pilgrims. Modern technologies and coordinated services were used to ensure travelers could complete all departure formalities swiftly and comfortably. From their arrival at the airport by bus to boarding their international flights, procedures were optimized for efficiency.
A designated plaza on the airport’s eastern side was prepared to accommodate pilgrim buses. Field teams were deployed to manage the arrival of buses, offloading of luggage using specialized loading vehicles, and movement of pilgrims to three dedicated waiting halls. These measures ensured that travel procedures were completed well in advance of departure times.
This meticulous planning helped maintain punctual flight schedules and provided a smooth, dignified departure experience for all pilgrims. The use of modern technology played a crucial role in optimizing these processes, ensuring that all travelers could depart without unnecessary delays or complications.
The successful management of these operations highlights the commitment of Tibah Airports Operation Company and its partners in providing efficient services during the post-Hajj season. Their efforts ensured that pilgrims could return home with ease after fulfilling their religious duties.
