Over 35,000 New Companies Join Dubai Chamber Of Commerce In First Half Of 2025
Dubai Chamber of Commerce, part of Dubai Chambers, has shared its accomplishments for the first half of 2025. The chamber welcomed 35,532 new member companies during this period, showing a 4% increase from the previous year. Member exports and re-exports reached AED171.9 billion, an 18% rise compared to the same timeframe last year.
The chamber issued 409,083 Certificates of Origin in H1 2025, reflecting a 10% increase from H1 2024. Additionally, it processed 2,961 ATA Carnets for goods valued at approximately AED1.94 billion. These figures highlight the chamber's significant role in facilitating trade activities.

In the first half of 2025, the chamber aided 60 local companies in expanding into international markets, marking a growth of 76% compared to the same period in 2024 when only 34 companies were supported. This effort is part of the "New Horizons" initiative aimed at helping Dubai-based firms explore global opportunities.
The initiative included two trade missions to Southeast Asia and Africa, covering Thailand, the Philippines, Angola, and Mozambique. These missions facilitated 1,076 B2B meetings between Dubai businesses and their counterparts in these regions.
During H1 2025, the chamber reviewed 27 laws and draft laws with Business Groups' input. The private sector's recommendations saw a 60% adoption rate, up from 46% in H1 2024. The chamber also held 98 meetings with Business Groups and Councils, showing a YoY growth of 104%.
Five new Business Councils were established to represent investors from Brazil, Slovakia, Peru, Indonesia, and Hungary. This expansion aims to strengthen ties with these countries and support investors' interests.
Legal Events and Mediation Cases
The chamber organised 19 legal events attended by over 1,414 participants from the business community. These events included seminars and workshops focusing on recent legislative developments that impact businesses.
A total of 94 mediation cases were received by the chamber during H1 2025. This represents a YoY growth of 19%, with these cases having a combined value exceeding AED213.5 million.
Family Businesses Support
The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses continues its mission under Dubai Chambers to ensure family enterprises' sustainability and growth. In collaboration with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, it released "Family Businesses in the Emirate of Dubai: A Guidebook." This guide provides best practices for preserving family wealth and ensuring long-term continuity.

Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori stated that guided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision, "Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a leading global centre for trade and investment." He added that Dubai’s business ecosystem boosts investor confidence in the national economy's positive outlook.
The chairman also noted their commitment to empowering local businesses by creating a regulatory environment that fosters growth and supports priority sectors' development. Strengthening public-private partnerships remains crucial for achieving D33 Agenda goals.
