Hajj Conference 2025: Over 3,000 Agreements Signed To Enhance Pilgrim Services
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, highlighted the significant role of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the success of the recent Hajj Conference and Exhibition. The event was organised by the ministry alongside the Pilgrims Experience Program. Al-Rabiah expressed his gratitude to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his dedication to ensuring pilgrim safety and improving the Hajj ecosystem.
Al-Rabiah acknowledged the contributions of the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) in showcasing the historical significance of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques. He praised Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for his efforts. The Cabinet also commended Darah's role in documentation, museum displays, and digital presentations.

The fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition saw over 204,000 visitors, marking a more than 70% increase from last year. The event featured over 270 exhibitors from more than 150 countries. This gathering facilitated over 3,000 agreements between government bodies and private entities, enhancing services for pilgrims through strategic partnerships.
Al-Rabiah shared that contracts have been finalised for over one million pilgrims from various countries, demonstrating readiness for this year's Hajj season. This reflects proactive preparations within the ecosystem to accommodate pilgrims effectively.
The conference's success was further highlighted by numerous agreements between Hajj affairs offices and service providers in catering, transportation, and accommodation sectors. These collaborations have strengthened efforts to improve services offered to pilgrims during their visit.
In his closing remarks at the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, Al-Rabiah praised Darah's participation in highlighting Hajj's historical legacy. He also recognised Prince Faisal bin Salman's contributions as Board Chairman of Darah's Board of Directors.
The minister emphasised that these developments underscore Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing pilgrim experiences through improved infrastructure and services. The collaborative efforts aim to ensure a seamless experience for all pilgrims attending this year's Hajj.
