Over 278,000 Visitors Benefit From Electric Vehicle Transportation Services At The Prophet's Mosque In January

In January, over 278,000 visitors used electric vehicle services at the Prophet's Mosque. This initiative is part of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque's year-round support for worshippers and visitors. The service aids people with disabilities, older adults, and children in navigating the mosque's courtyards.

The Authority's Agency for Measurement, Quality, Leadership, Creativity, and Institutional Excellence reported that 37,664 visitors from various nationalities benefited from mobile vehicle services. These services are crucial for ensuring accessibility within the mosque premises. Additionally, designated prayer areas saw an 89% occupancy rate in January.

278,000 Visitors Use Transport Services at Mosque

During this period, Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa hosted 660,507 male and 600,446 female visitors for prayers. Furthermore, 2,554,215 individuals had the opportunity to greet Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and his companions through pre-arranged bookings via approved applications.

The mosque distributed 4,390 tons of Zamzam water to worshippers in January. In addition to this essential provision, 654,923 meals were served to fasting individuals in designated areas within the mosque. These efforts ensure that visitors' spiritual and physical needs are met during their time at the mosque.

Medical teams were on hand to address health concerns, managing 128 cases that required medical attention. This ensured that those needing care received appropriate treatment at nearby health facilities.

Educational and Communication Initiatives

The mosque also facilitated communication services in ten languages for 41,376 visitors. These multilingual services provided guidance and directions to enhance visitor experience. Additionally, religious lectures and lessons attracted a total of 65,589 attendees both in person and through digital broadcasts.

The Prophet's Mosque Library was another hub of activity with 66,847 visitors seeking knowledge and research resources. This highlights the library's role as a vital resource for learning and spiritual growth among worshippers.
