Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 Delivers Essential Water And Sanitation Support To Gaza Residents

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has initiated a project to aid Gaza's local authorities by supplying trucks for water and sanitation services. This effort aims to enhance service quality for Gaza's residents and tackle severe shortages faced by local authorities under challenging conditions.

During a recent press conference with municipalities and the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 handed over four water tankers and two sanitation trucks. This initiative aims to ease regional challenges, improve municipal services for displaced families, and address the worsening humanitarian situation.

The UAE's ongoing support for Gaza's local authorities is evident through this operation. Mohamed Rabie, Operations Coordinator of Chivalrous Knight 3, emphasized that the water tanker project is an urgent UAE response to Gaza's infrastructure issues. It aims to meet the needs of over 1.5 million displaced people. He confirmed the operation's dedication to supporting Palestinians by utilizing all available resources.

A representative from the Union of Gaza Municipalities expressed gratitude towards the UAE and President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their steadfast support through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The representative noted that the provided tankers are crucial in addressing urgent municipal needs due to vehicle deterioration.

Dr. Omar Shatat, Director-General of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, praised the UAE's extensive support since the onset of aggression on Gaza. He highlighted the establishment of a freshwater lifeline as the sole potable water source in the region, easing burdens on local authorities by supplying clean water.
