UAE's Omar Al Marzouqi Enters Olympic Show Jumping Individual Final

Omar Al Marzouqi, a member of the UAE's national show jumping team, has advanced to the final stage of the individual event at the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris.

Al Marzouqi achieved a ranking of 21st with just one fault and a time of 79.56 seconds. He will compete again on Tuesday, joining 30 other riders in the final stage.

The UAE's national team had three riders participating in the individual show-jumping event, which included 75 riders in total. Alongside Al Marzouqi, Abdullah Al Marri and Salem Al Suwaidi also represented the UAE.

Salem Al Suwaidi began the qualifying round for the UAE with 16 faults and completed his run in 76.42 seconds. Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Marri decided to withdraw from the competition to ensure his horse's well-being.

The performance of these riders highlights their dedication and skill as they compete on an international stage. Their participation underscores the growing presence of UAE athletes in global sporting events.
