Recent reports from Oman have highlighted a significant increase in temperatures across the nation, with some areas experiencing the mercury soaring past 47°C. The Met office has confirmed these extreme weather conditions, noting that Sur has witnessed the highest temperature in the last 24 hours, reaching a scorching 47.5°C.
