OIC Media Observatory Reports Alarming Increase In Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians In Gaza

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Media Observatory reported a significant escalation in violence against Palestinians. Between June 3 and 9, 2025, Israeli actions resulted in the deaths of 460 Palestinians and injuries to 1,939 others. The total number of Palestinian fatalities since the conflict began has reached 56,260, with 134,586 injured.

Palestinian sources highlighted that over 111 individuals were killed while searching for food. Additionally, bombings targeting aid centers resulted in 583 injuries and nine missing persons. The Israeli forces' attacks also targeted displaced persons’ tents and civilian homes across Gaza.

OIC Reports Rising Israeli Crimes in Gaza

In a tragic incident, three paramedics and a journalist were killed during an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City's Tuffah neighborhood. Another attack on the Baptist Hospital claimed the lives of four journalists. These incidents have increased the total number of journalists killed in the conflict to 228.

The OIC Media Observatory noted that Israel's actions have severely strained Gaza's health sector. Hospitals are overwhelmed due to the high number of casualties and lack essential resources because of Israeli restrictions.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed deliberate bombings of hospitals by Israeli forces under false pretenses. In Khan Yunis' Qarara area and Jabalia refugee camp, homes were destroyed as part of Israel's policy to displace Palestinians.

Al-Aqsa Mosque has faced frequent raids by extremist settlers. In the West Bank, occupation forces conducted 302 raids on cities and towns, resulting in 166 arrests. A child was killed in Ramallah, with two others injured in Nablus.

Land Confiscation and Settler Activities

Israeli forces demolished four homes in Al-Quds within a week and bulldozed agricultural lands in Deir Jarir village, Ramallah. They confiscated vehicles from various towns including Beit Ummar, Hebron, Tuqu’, Bethlehem, Hizma, Al-Quds, and Sinjil, Ramallah.

Settlers carried out 55 attacks across West Bank villages and towns. In Deir Dibwan near Ramallah, they burned homes, farms, cars, and animal pens. Settlement activities included establishing outposts on previously displaced Palestinian family lands in Taybeh town.

Expansion of Settlements

Settlers erected tents near Palestinian homes in Susya village, Hebron; Burin village; Mount Ebal north of Nablus; east of Yatta town; and Qarawat Bani Hassan town in Salfit. They also paved roads from Farkha village lands to settlement outposts.

The occupation forces ordered the confiscation of large tracts of land: 36,055 dunams from Shibtin, Deir Ammar, Deir Qadis villages in Ramallah; and 12,221 dunams from Deir Ghassaneh and Al-Lubban Al-Gharbi villages also in Ramallah.

The OIC Media Observatory documented a total of 3,172 Israeli crimes during this period. These acts continue to exacerbate tensions between Israelis and Palestinians as violence persists across the region.
