Bahrain And Saudi Arabia Strengthen Ties Through Official Talks In Riyadh

Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, recently held a formal meeting with Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of Bahrain's Council of Representatives. This session took place at the council's headquarters in Riyadh and was part of Al-Musallam's official visit to Saudi Arabia, accompanied by a delegation from Bahrain.

At the start of the meeting, Al Al-Sheikh extended a warm welcome to Al-Musallam and his team. He highlighted the significance of the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, which is evident through frequent high-level visits between officials from both nations. The historic ties between these countries have seen progress in various fields under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman from Saudi Arabia, along with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa from Bahrain.

Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Hold Official Talks

Al-Musallam praised the exceptional relations between the leaderships and citizens of both countries. He emphasized the need to strengthen parliamentary relations to further enhance bilateral ties at all levels. He also acknowledged Saudi Arabia's crucial role in maintaining regional and global security and stability, noting that Bahraini-Saudi relations exemplify close cooperation.

The discussions during this session covered several topics of mutual interest. Both sides explored ways to boost cooperation between the Shura Council and Bahrain's Council of Representatives. This collaboration aims to meet the shared goals of both nations' leaderships.

Al Al-Sheikh remarked on the robust connection between the Shura Council and Bahrain's Council of Representatives. He reiterated their ongoing collaboration, which aligns with the aspirations of both countries' leaders. Following their talks, he hosted a lunch banquet in honour of Al-Musallam and his delegation.
