NYU Abu Dhabi Strengthens Commitment To AI Research And Educational Programmes
New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is enhancing its focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) through new educational programmes and research initiatives. This aligns with the UAE's aim to lead globally in AI and supports its National Strategy for AI 2031. The university's efforts include launching a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MIDSAI), which prepares students for future careers.
NYUAD has established several AI-related research centres since its inception. The Centre for AI and Robotics stands out, focusing on sensor data processing, motion understanding, path planning, autonomous decision-making, and robotic safety.
