NWC Ramadan Readiness: National Water Company Plans 11 Million Cubic Meters Daily Across Saudi Arabia

The National Water Company is implementing an extensive plan for Ramadan 1447 to secure water services across Saudi Arabia. The company aims to distribute around 11 million cubic metres of water each day. The programme targets residents and visitors in all regions, supporting higher seasonal demand and maintaining reliable pumping and supply.

NWC states that the Ramadan arrangements seek to maximise available water volumes, protect service continuity, and support Saudi Vision 2030 goals. The company links these measures with long-term sustainability of water resources. It also highlights benefits for community well-being, as stable water access is a central service for daily life during the holy month.

To manage Ramadan 1447 water supply operations, the National Water Company has prepared a detailed operational plan. This plan covers water management, distribution routes, and service monitoring. Operations centres will be staffed with teams working continuously. These personnel will oversee networks, address issues, and seek to maintain the agreed service levels for customers.

The operational plan for Ramadan 1447 water supply also assigns specialised operation and maintenance teams. These teams are equipped with modern tools and machinery to handle faults and emergencies. NWC has additionally prepared water filling stations across cities and governorates. The goal is to support tanker filling needs where network coverage requires extra support.

According to NWC: "As part of our preparations and full readiness, we are receiving customer requests through our digital channels, namely the National Water app on smartphones, or through the electronic branch (e.nwc.com.sa), in addition to the unified contact number 8004411110 for water services in all regions of the Kingdom, which is available 24 hours a day to receive reports and relaying them to maintenance teams that will ensure timely response."

The National Water Company notes that coordination with water system partners will continue throughout Ramadan 1447. This cooperation is intended to maintain stable water supply volumes and support network sustainability. Joint work with sector partners also supports national objectives linked to Saudi Vision 2030, particularly regarding service quality and resource efficiency.
