NWC Successfully Distributes Over 22 Million Cubic Meters Of Water To Hajj Pilgrims In Madinah
The National Water Company's (NWC) Northwest Cluster has reported a successful distribution of over 22 million cubic meters of water in Madinah during the first half of the 1446 AH Hajj season. This achievement was part of their operational and technical strategy, utilising a smart operations system to deliver high-quality services to pilgrims.
NWC's smart operations system played a crucial role in enhancing water supply monitoring in Madinah's central area and holy sites. The system's development this season allowed for better oversight, supported by 1,203 personnel, including technical, engineering, and administrative staff. Maintenance teams were also equipped with modern tools and machinery to ensure efficient service delivery.

Recently, NWC initiated a new phase in developing its smart operations system. This phase increased the number of devices that monitor water flow, supply, and quality in real time across Madinah. These advancements aim to further improve service quality for pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque by enhancing performance and operational efficiency.
Continuous water supply was maintained around the clock to the Prophet's Mosque and other religious sites. The daily distribution rate exceeded 630,000 cubic meters. To ensure water quality, an average of 775 laboratory tests were conducted each day, totalling 27,125 tests. All tests complied fully with approved standards.
NWC attributes its successful operational plan execution to coordinated efforts across all departments, strategic planning, and unwavering government support. This accomplishment underscores the Kingdom's commitment to providing world-class services that enable pilgrims to perform their rituals safely and comfortably.
The company's efforts reflect a strong dedication to ensuring ease and peace of mind for pilgrims during their spiritual journey. By boosting performance and service continuity through technological advancements, NWC continues to uphold its mission of delivering exceptional services.
