NWC Completes South Jeddah Water Projects To Enhance Infrastructure And Accept Customer Requests
The National Water Company (NWC), through its Western Cluster, has finalised water projects in southern Jeddah. These initiatives include three major projects with a network spanning over 250,000 meters and main lines stretching more than 16,500 meters. The total investment exceeds SAR152 million. These projects aim to boost the water sector's operational efficiency and improve infrastructure services in the region.
These developments are part of ongoing efforts to enhance water services in southern Jeddah. They cover areas such as Al-Ajwaid East and West, Prince Fawaz Housing, Al-Alfiyah 1 and 2, Al-Huda, Al-Faisal, and Al-Fadhila districts. The projects include water networks, main transmission lines, and a pumping station with a capacity of 95,000 cubic meters per day to support operations.

The NWC has begun accepting service requests from residents in Al-Qurainiyah and Al-Khomrah. Residents can submit their requests through the electronic branch at e.nwc.com.sa. For inquiries, they can contact the unified number 8004411110 or use NWC’s digital channels. It is crucial for applicants to attach all necessary documents and data to complete their requests efficiently.
The completed projects serve the Al-Qurainiyah and Al-Khomrah districts specifically. They are designed to connect over 322,000 people to improved water services. This initiative is an extension of previous improvements in the area aimed at enhancing water service efficiency and operational capabilities.
These projects align with NWC's strategic plan to expand coverage in previously underserved districts. They also focus on promoting sustainability and improving quality of life as part of Saudi Vision 2030. The company confirmed that these initiatives will contribute significantly to water conservation efforts.
The NWC emphasised that these developments are crucial for enhancing infrastructure within the governorate. By improving water services, they aim to provide better living conditions for residents while supporting broader national goals outlined in Vision 2030.
