Noor Riyadh Light Art Festival Announces Fifth Edition With Over 60 Installations In Riyadh

Noor Riyadh, the world’s largest light art festival, is set to return for its fifth edition from November 20. This event, under the Riyadh Art initiative, will once again illuminate the Saudi capital with innovative installations by both local and international artists. The 2025 theme, "In the Blink of an Eye," reflects Riyadh’s swift transformation, highlighting its evolving identity alongside its historic roots.

The festival's theme mirrors Riyadh's rapid development and visionary infrastructure, including the newly launched metro system. Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan stated, "This year’s theme captures the momentum of change that defines Riyadh today. Through Noor Riyadh, we continue to deepen the role of public art in shaping cultural exchange, enriching daily life, and positioning Riyadh as a creative capital on the world stage."

Riyadh Art is one of four mega projects launched to transform the city into an open art gallery. This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goals to promote culture and arts while enhancing quality of life. Since its inception, Riyadh Art has showcased over 550 artworks by more than 500 artists from Saudi Arabia and beyond.
