Noatum Maritime, Siemens Energy, And Green Parrot Tech Collaborate On Offshore Renewable Energy Solutions
Noatum Maritime, part of AD Ports Group, has teamed up with Siemens Energy and Green Parrot Tech FZE (GPT) to explore joint ventures in offshore renewable energy. Their collaboration aims to enhance the development of infrastructure like substations and power grids. By combining their expertise, they plan to offer comprehensive solutions for renewable energy projects.
The partnership will focus on creating a seamless framework that integrates electrical systems, engineering, design, subsea solutions, offshore logistics, and fabrication. This approach aims to simplify complex offshore projects by reducing interfaces and streamlining coordination. The partners also plan to explore floating power plants and regasification units.

Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of Maritime & Shipping Cluster at AD Ports Group, stated, "This collaboration represents an opportunity to explore how our combined strengths can shape the future of renewable energy infrastructure. By uniting expertise in offshore operations, engineering and advanced technology, we can help create smarter, more efficient solutions to improve cost efficiencies and reduce complexity for our clients while supporting the transition towards a low-carbon future."
Khalid Bin Hadi from Siemens Energy highlighted the partnership's role in advancing regional energy transitions through innovation. He said, "This partnership reflects our commitment to advancing the region’s energy transition through strategic collaborations and innovation. By uniting Siemens Energy’s global technology leadership with Noatum Maritime’s operations excellence and Green Parrot’s offshore capabilities, we are laying the foundation for a new generation of integrated offshore energy solutions."
The collaboration is aligned with the UAE's vision for a sustainable energy future. Diego A. Aguilar of Green Parrot Tech noted their contribution of strategic assets for innovative floating infrastructure solutions. He stated, "By contributing strategic assets and locations to provide innovative floating infrastructure solutions to the offshore industry and combining the different competences of each participant in this new venture we are able to cover the entire lifecycle of an offshore renewable project."
This initiative supports the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 strategy and Abu Dhabi’s sustainable energy goals. The investment in renewable infrastructure promises long-term cost savings, improved energy resilience, and decreased reliance on traditional fuels.
The partnership aims to drive sustainable growth while enhancing local value creation. It represents a significant step towards achieving cleaner energy solutions in line with regional environmental objectives.
