Noatum Maritime Collaborates With ASRY To Enhance Marine Services In Bahrain
Noatum Maritime, a part of AD Ports Group's Maritime and Shipping Cluster, has entered into a joint venture with the Arab Shipbuilding & Repair Yard Company (ASRY) to enhance marine services in Bahrain. This partnership aims to improve the current offerings at ASRY Shipyard by using Noatum Maritime's expertise and modern fleet, initially focusing on towage and mooring services.
The joint venture will start operations with four ASD tugs and a mooring boat, replacing ASRY's existing fleet. The goal is to eventually offer a comprehensive range of maritime solutions through Noatum Maritime. Current staff will remain employed to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in operations.

By incorporating Noatum Maritime's knowledge in harbour towage, marine logistics, and offshore operations, the joint venture aims to boost operational efficiency and scalability while adhering to industry best practices. This collaboration marks Noatum Maritime's first international expansion offering a full suite of marine services.
Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of the Maritime and Shipping Cluster at AD Ports Group, highlighted that this partnership enhances their regional presence. It allows them to utilise their marine service expertise while delivering excellent service through an efficient modern fleet. The collaboration is expected to set new standards for efficiency and reliability.
Ahmed AlAbri, CEO of ASRY, expressed confidence in the joint venture's potential. He stated, "Partnering with Noatum Maritime marks a significant step forward in solidifying our marine services offering. With their expertise and cutting-edge fleet, we are confident that this JV will set new standards for efficiency, reliability and service excellence."
Although Noatum Maritime operates towage services in regions like Mauritius, Mozambique, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman, this venture represents its first comprehensive international move. The focus is on providing an extensive range of marine services beyond its existing markets.
The collaboration between Noatum Maritime and ASRY signifies a strategic effort to enhance marine services in Bahrain. By leveraging advanced technology and operational know-how, the joint venture aims to deliver superior service quality while expanding its reach within the region.
