NIDLP Participates In The 2024 Multilateral Industrial Policy Forum To Enhance Global Partnerships

The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) is taking part in the 2024 Multilateral Industrial Policy Forum (MIPF). This event, organised by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources alongside the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), aims to foster partnerships with UNIDO. The focus is on developing innovative industrial policies that bolster growth both regionally and globally.

For the first time, Riyadh is hosting this forum outside of UNIDO's Vienna headquarters. Scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, it will operate under the theme "Making Industrial Policy Work for SDGs." Approximately 3,000 industry leaders, decision-makers, CEOs, and specialists are anticipated to attend. The event will highlight Saudi Arabia's achievements in the industrial sector through an exhibition showcasing initiatives aimed at localising promising industries.

The forum's agenda includes a ministerial roundtable featuring ministers and global leaders in industrial transformation. Discussions will revolve around industrial policies, challenges faced, and potential solutions.
