NIDLP Calls For Entrepreneurs To Join The Third Edition Of The 1K Mile Program

The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) has called on entrepreneurs, innovators, and project owners in the industrial, logistics, and mining sectors to register for the third edition of the "1K Mile" Entrepreneurship Program. This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals, aiming to attract entrepreneurs to develop detailed feasibility studies for viable and sustainable projects.

This edition introduces unique initiatives to help entrepreneurs launch their projects by providing access to resources, experts, and potential investors. A significant feature is the emphasis on global collaboration through partnerships with international incubators and accelerators. These partnerships focus on training, mentoring, and networking to attract investments for the 1K Mile projects.

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the NIDLP Committee Bandar Alkhorayef announced the launch of the third edition at the awards ceremony of the second edition in August 2024. Alkhorayef highlighted NIDLP's commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs through incentives and expert guidance. He also noted the abundance of high-quality projects.

The third edition aims to attract new opportunities and investments. The second edition saw over 4,000 registrations, with 84 candidates progressing to the final stage after conducting feasibility studies. These studies ensured that their projects aligned with Vision 2030 objectives.

The 1K Mile program seeks to foster entrepreneurship in industrial, service, logistics, and mining sectors. It enables entrepreneurs to leverage significant transformations brought about by Vision 2030.
