New UAE Ambassadors Sworn In By President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan At Qasr Al Watan
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended a ceremony at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The event marked the swearing-in of new UAE ambassadors and the reception of credentials from foreign ambassadors beginning their duties in the UAE. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, was also present.
The newly appointed UAE ambassadors pledged their commitment to representing their country with dedication. They expressed gratitude for the trust placed in them by His Highness and emphasised their determination to strengthen ties with their host nations. The President wished them success in their diplomatic missions.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the UAE's dedication to fostering effective partnerships that benefit all involved parties. He expressed confidence in the new ambassadors' ability to enhance relations with their respective countries. The focus remains on mutual interests and shared prosperity.
The following individuals were sworn in as UAE ambassadors: HE Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri (Saudi Arabia), HE Hamad Ali Bin Alwan Alhebsi (Syria), HE Fahad Salem Saeed Al Kaabi (Lebanon), HE Ali Rashid Al Mazrouei (Libya), HE Khalid Abdulla Humaid Belhoul (Iran), HE Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi (Pakistan), HE Khamis Rashid Ahmed Al Shmeili (Montenegro), HE Abdullah Jassim Al Shamsi (Guinea-Bissau), and HE Saif Mohammed Al Ketbi (Afghanistan).
His Highness also received credentials from several newly appointed foreign ambassadors to the UAE. He welcomed these diplomats warmly and wished them success in enhancing bilateral relations between their countries and the UAE. His Highness assured them of the UAE's support in fulfilling their roles effectively.
The foreign ambassadors who presented their credentials included: HE Essameldine Abdelhamid Ashour (Egypt), HE Majid Thalji Al-Qatarneh (Jordan), HE Tarek Hassan Mneymneh (Lebanon), HE Kyaw Kyaw Min (Myanmar), HE Vladimir Maric (Serbia), and HE Dr Oleksandr Balanutsa (Ukraine).
High-Level Attendance
The ceremonies were attended by several high-ranking officials, including H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Omar Obaid AlHesan AlShamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with other senior officials.
The foreign ambassadors conveyed greetings from their leaders to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They extended wishes for ongoing progress and prosperity for the UAE.
