New Murabba Partners With US Green Building Council To Advance Sustainable Urban Development

New Murabba, a company under the Public Investment Fund, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the US Green Building Council (USGBC) in Washington, D.C. This agreement aims to explore collaboration opportunities in sustainable urban development. The focus will be on applying global sustainability frameworks like LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) across the project.

The MoU outlines plans to investigate advanced models such as LEED v5 and LEED for Communities. These efforts aim to enhance design, construction, and operational practices by aligning them with global best practices. Both parties will also focus on knowledge exchange, training, and sustainable community development.

New Murabba and USGBC Collaborate on Sustainability

New Murabba has become a Platinum member of USGBC, showcasing its dedication to sustainability leadership. Eissa Almunif, Chief Business Excellence Officer at New Murabba, stated: "This MoU is an important step in our journey of learning, innovation and sustainability. Working with the US Green Building Council allows us to explore how global best practices can shape the future of New Murabba. Our aim is to create a destination that places people, the planet and long-term prosperity at its center."
