New Murabba Highlights Sustainable Urban Development Vision At Cityscape Global 2024

New Murabba, a company under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), showcased its vision for urban living at Cityscape Global 2024. This major real estate and urban development event took place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Centre in Malham from November 11 to 14. The theme was "The Future of Living," attracting over 400 participants, including global industry leaders and experts.

The event served as a significant platform for New Murabba to engage with key stakeholders and investors. It highlighted Saudi Arabia's rapid economic growth and aligned with New Murabba’s mission to create a vibrant downtown using renewable energy, smart technologies, and efficient resource management.

New Murabba had the privilege of hosting His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Hathloul bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of the Najran Region, along with other dignitaries at its pavilion. CEO Michael Dyke and his team presented the latest advancements in modern urban development at the destination.

Dyke also participated in a panel discussion on sustainable investments driving urban growth. He stated, "Cityscape Global 2024 is a remarkable opportunity to engage with visionary leaders, investors, and partners who share our commitment to creating a sustainable and dynamic urban future."

New Murabba aims to contribute significantly to Riyadh’s transformation into a global city. The project integrates advanced technology, sustainability, and community-focused experiences to create a vibrant urban environment. This approach aligns with Saudi Arabia's goal of making Riyadh one of the world’s top 10 most livable cities.

The event featured seven sessions covering topics like dream designs becoming dynamic developments, placemaking art, mixed-use destinations creation, mega projects in Saudi Arabia, upcoming stadiums insights, retail design transformations, intelligent construction futures, and AI’s role in construction enhancement.

Encouraging Global Development Models

Michael Dyke emphasized that New Murabba's participation sets an example for global developments by prioritizing sustainability and quality of life in their strategies. "By participating in this prestigious event, New Murabba will serve as a model for other developments across the globe," he added.

The development is expected to attract foreign investors interested in Saudi Arabia’s expanding real estate market. By embracing sustainability and smart city concepts, New Murabba aligns with the Kingdom’s ambitious goals for development.
