New Murabba, a company under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), showcased its initiatives at "MIPIM 2025," a real estate event in Cannes, France, from March 11 to 14. This participation aimed to boost international investment in Saudi Arabia and demonstrate the country's commitment to economic diversification. The event featured sessions led by New Murabba's executives, offering insights into their strategic vision aligned with Saudi Arabia’s development goals.

Michael Dyke, CEO of New Murabba, participated in a panel titled "How the Saudi Giga Projects Are Contributing to the Kingdom’s Economy and Vision 2030." He highlighted the company's dedication to collaborative development and world-class execution. Dyke stated, "We are committed to collaborative development and world-class execution. New Murabba has completed 14 million cubic meters of excavation while achieving 5.5 million safe hours without lost-time incidents."

Robert Pearce, Head of Sales, contributed to a discussion on "Changing Saudi Economy and Changing Regulations for Foreign Investment." His insights focused on how evolving regulations are shaping foreign investments in Saudi Arabia. Eissa Almunif, Head of EPMO and Stakeholder Management Division, joined a panel about "Changing Demographics in Saudi Arabia and How This Affects Development Planning," discussing demographic shifts impacting urban planning.

Ashwaq Albabtain, Development Director, participated in the panel "Mega Events, Hospitality, and Leisure," exploring how these sectors influence urban growth. Nida Raza, Executive Director of Capital Partnerships Development, took part in discussions about "The Evolving Real Estate Sector in Saudi Arabia," providing insights into changes within the real estate market.

Reham Alawaji, Director of Healthcare and Education Development, engaged in a session titled "Creating Livable Cities with Purpose." This discussion centered on developing cities that offer quality living environments. These panels collectively provided valuable perspectives on New Murabba’s strategic importance and its potential impact on urban landscapes.

Progress Towards The Mukaab

The completion of 14 million cubic meters of excavation marks significant progress for New Murabba. Dyke noted this milestone allows for the start of permanent works for The Mukaab project. He emphasized that this achievement sets the foundation for future construction phases. Dyke added that this progress highlights New Murabba’s commitment to creating a world-class destination that will redefine urban development.
