The National Curriculum Center has launched updated curricula for the 1447/1448 AH academic year. This initiative is part of broader plans to align education with modern changes and equip students with skills for future competitiveness, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The new curricula include subjects like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, tourism and hospitality, fashion, art and design, and first aid.

Innovative teaching and assessment methods have been incorporated into the new curricula. These methods aim to keep pace with global educational developments, offering students more opportunities to discover their abilities and develop future skills. The center's strategic direction focuses on modernizing the educational sector comprehensively.

Updated Curricula Include AI and Cybersecurity

Enhancements in language education are also a priority. The center has improved Chinese and English language teaching. Additionally, a Quran teacher’s guide and a learning areas guide for kindergarten have been developed. These resources aim to provide quality education from an early age.

The center emphasizes integrating technology tools in education. It encourages critical and creative thinking while prioritizing early education by developing resources for kindergarten and early childhood stages. Guidance manuals for teachers ensure quality education across all groups.

Collaboration with relevant ministries and entities is key to adopting study plans and curricula. The center works closely with these partners to ensure that the educational process is aligned with contemporary needs. This collaboration helps in fostering an environment conducive to learning.

Through partnerships with the private sector, the center enriches educational content by licensing international curricula. It ensures textbooks reach schools promptly, enhancing the overall learning experience for students across Saudi Arabia.

Promoting Values through Education

The updated curricula not only focus on technical skills but also promote national and humanitarian values within a stimulating educational environment. This approach aims to develop students' capabilities in critical thinking, innovation, and technical skills.

The center's efforts reflect a strategic direction aimed at modernizing education integrally. By focusing on developing students' capabilities in various fields, it prepares them for future challenges while instilling important values.

This comprehensive development plan highlights the importance of preparing a generation equipped with necessary skills and knowledge. Aligning education with contemporary changes ensures that students can compete effectively in future fields.
