NEOM Unveils 'Maqna', A Luxury Coastal Haven On The Gulf Of Aqaba

The Board of Directors of NEOM has unveiled the development of Magna, a luxury coastal destination. Part of NEOM's regional sustainable tourism portfolio, Magna is located on the Gulf of Aqaba coastline and includes the newly announced premier destinations of Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, Xaynor, Elanan, Gidori, Treyam, and Jaumur.

These twelve destinations will cover 120 kilometers and aim to set a new global standard in luxury sustainable tourism. As a physical representation of Saudi Vision 2030, Magna will focus on advanced technology, world-class architecture, and ultra-modern amenities that integrate with nature. Each destination will offer unique experiences for residents and guests while forming a unified whole.

The development will feature 15 luxury hotels, 1,600 hotel rooms, suites and apartments, and over 2,500 premium residences. Conservation, preservation, and rejuvenation of native flora and fauna will be central to the project. The breathtaking natural landscape will also be a key element in the design.

Magna is expected to contribute significantly to Saudi Arabia's economic diversification efforts under Vision 2030. The project aims to create 15,000 jobs across tourism, leisure, and hospitality sectors. It is projected to add SAR 2.6 billion to the Kingdom's GDP by 2030.

The development will accommodate 14,500 residents and attract more than 300,000 overnight visitors annually. Magna offers an opportunity for investors and developers to participate in one of the world's most innovative projects. Sustainability is embedded in every stage from design to construction and long-term maintenance.

Magna is NEOM's newest region within its evolving giga-project development in northwest Saudi Arabia. It follows other significant projects such as Sindalah, THE LINE, Trojena, and Oxagon.

Magna aims to position Saudi Arabia as a global leader in luxury tourism while contributing positively to national economic goals. The project embodies the ambitious vision for the future laid out by Saudi Vision 2030.
