50,000 Benefit From NEOM's Social Initiatives, Enhancing Community Livability
NEOM, a sustainable development in northwest Saudi Arabia, has reported that 50,000 individuals from local communities have benefited from its Social Responsibility (SR) programs over the past year. This information was revealed in NEOM's Annual Social Responsibility Report for 2023, which details the number of beneficiaries and various initiatives undertaken by NEOM.
The report highlights NEOM's dedication to socio-economic engagement, human capability building, and community support through sustainable initiatives. It showcases how NEOM has inspired global social responsibility approaches through three main tracks: Accelerating Progress, Embedding Value, and Enhancing Quality of Life.

Among the key findings, the report notes that 26 projects were awarded to companies in Tabuk. Additionally, 583 people from NEOM and Tabuk secured employment through job creation initiatives. The social return on investment from the NEOM Seven Senses Program exceeded SAR 40 million.
In 2023, NEOM introduced its first integrated volunteering ecosystem. This initiative engaged over 1,300 volunteers across 68 different opportunities to serve their communities. The report also shares stories of entrepreneurs, volunteers, and employees who have benefited from these programs.
The report emphasizes NEOM's role in promoting sustainable development and supporting Saudi Vision 2030. It demonstrates how NEOM leveraged key partnerships to drive innovation and socioeconomic progress in local communities.
