NCVC Engages In Future Trends Forum To Promote Sustainable Growth And Environmental Conservation
The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) recently took part in the Future Trends Forum in Abha, Aseer Region, from February 9 to 11. This event focuses on sustainable development through research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and partnerships. The forum served as a platform for discussions on sustainability challenges and opportunities in education, economy, and environment.
During a panel discussion at the forum, Eng. Ahmad Alanazi, General Manager of the National Greening Program at NCVC, emphasized their efforts in land restoration and combating degradation. He stated that the program has already achieved its 2024 targets for greening and land rehabilitation. "The National Greening Program has met its 2024 targets for greening and land rehabilitation," he said.

The NCVC's participation highlights its dedication to environmental conservation and sustainability. Their focus includes mitigating environmental risks, restoring ecosystems, reducing pollution, expanding green spaces, and leading a national greening strategy to rehabilitate degraded lands.
