NCP Strengthens Engagement With Local And International Investors For PPP Projects

The National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP) is actively engaging with investors both locally and globally. This effort aims to broaden the scope of public-private partnership (PPP) projects in Saudi Arabia. The centre collaborates closely with the private sector to achieve this goal.

Since early 2025, NCP has been organising various meetings and roundtables. It has also conducted primary market surveys and participated in events with developers, consultants, experts, and different PPP units. These initiatives demonstrate the centre's dedication to fostering strong relationships with investors worldwide.

NCP Boosts Engagement for PPP Projects

A recent visit by an NCP delegation to Australia focused on discussions with PPP units and developers experienced in large-scale projects. They also engaged with infrastructure consultants and financiers. The meetings aimed at sharing best practices in partnership contracts and project implementation.

During their Australian visit, the delegation toured significant PPP projects. These included the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center, the new Footscray Hospital, the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Sydney Metro, and Allianz Stadium. The tours provided insights into managing large infrastructure and public facility projects.

One of NCP's notable initiatives is the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium project. This stadium will be the first in Saudi Arabia developed under the PPP model. With a capacity of around 47,000 spectators, it is set to host local and international tournaments, including the 2034 World Cup.

NCP is also planning a series of meetings with CEOs from leading PPP development companies in Spain, France, Italy, and Belgium. These efforts aim to expand Saudi Arabia's privatization portfolio further. The focus is on major infrastructure projects while attracting global expertise to support project acceleration.

The centre's commitment to building robust ties with both local and international investors remains unwavering. By engaging with experts from various countries, NCP seeks to enhance its strategies for successful project delivery within the Kingdom.
