UAE Weather Update: Rainfall Expected In Different Parts Starting Sunday-Wednesday
The UAE's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has alerted the public to expected weather changes spanning from Sunday, October 6, until Wednesday, October 9, 2024. This forecast predicts variable weather patterns across different parts of the country due to a complex interplay of meteorological conditions.
Starting from Sunday, there's an anticipation of cloud formation, particularly in the East, which could bring rainfall. This marks the beginning of a series of weather changes. The forecast from Monday through Wednesday indicates a likely continuation of this trend. Eastern and Northern regions might experience cloud formations that could also spread to some Southern areas. These clouds are expected to bring a mix of light, moderate, and occasionally heavy rainfall. Moreover, the weather scenario could include lightning and thunder, adding to the intensity of the weather during this period.

The influence of low-pressure systems from both the South and the North, coupled with a relatively cold air mass at higher altitudes, is a significant factor in this weather pattern. The presence of mountains to the East further contributes to the formation of local convective clouds over various regions, enhancing the likelihood of rainfall across these areas.
Wind conditions are also expected to vary throughout this period. Initially, winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the Southeasterly to Northeasterly direction. However, they will shift to become Northwesterly winds. At times, these winds may strengthen, leading to blowing dust and sand. This could significantly reduce horizontal visibility, impacting travel and outdoor activities.
Regarding maritime conditions during this period, both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will experience slight to moderate sea levels. This suggests that while there might be some impact on marine activities, severe disruptions are unlikely. However, those planning to venture into these waters should stay informed about the latest weather updates.
