NCA Launches Grants To Foster Cybersecurity Research And Innovation
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has introduced the "Cybersecurity Research and Innovation Pioneers Grants" initiative. This program aims to support exceptional researchers and innovators in developing advanced research and innovative solutions for both current and future cybersecurity challenges, enhancing their impact on a national and international scale.
This initiative is part of the broader "National Program for Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) in Cybersecurity." The program is designed to launch transformative projects that open new opportunities and promote the growth of the cybersecurity industry within Saudi Arabia. It aims to establish Saudi Arabia as a secure global economic leader through innovation and cybersecurity excellence.

The program focuses on eight key areas: NextGen Cyber Defense, Cyber Resilience, Cyber-Physical Technologies and IoT, AI x Cyber, Cryptography and Quantum Security, Behavioral Cyber, Future of Cyber Threats and Attacks, and Cyber Order. These areas are prioritized to build a strong foundation for an attractive innovation ecosystem in cybersecurity.
The "Cybersecurity Research and Innovation Pioneers Grants" will offer financial support to researchers, academics, experts, and university students at various levels who are engaged in cybersecurity or related fields. The initiative will foster significant advancements in cybersecurity RDI under three main tracks: Scientific Research and Projects, Postgraduate Research Theses, and Bachelor's and Master's Graduation Projects.
NCA encourages all eligible individuals to apply for this initiative. Applications will begin soon, with proposals to be submitted through the NCA website at www.nca.gov.sa.
