National Water Company Completes Over SAR 323 Million In Water And Environmental Projects In Taif
The National Water Company (NWC) in the Western Cluster has completed several water and environmental projects in Taif Governorate. These initiatives, valued at over SAR323 million, aim to boost infrastructure and operational efficiency in Makkah Region's water and environmental sectors.
A key project is the Rahmaniya Operational Reservoir in Taif Governorate. This reservoir, costing more than SAR65.7 million, has a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters. It will serve over 100,000 residents in the northern districts, enhancing the area's water system.

In the environmental sector, NWC completed a sewage feeder lines project. This project spans 34.8 kilometers and cost over SAR36.5 million. It benefits more than 48,000 people in Arimiya, Qadira, Al-Faisaliyah, and Al-Jawhara Palace Complex districts.
Another sewage feeder lines project covers 16.5 kilometers in Al-Huwaiya, Al-Istad, and Taif University areas. This initiative serves 26,000 people and costs more than SAR19.1 million. It aims to improve services and expand coverage in these districts.
NWC also implemented a transmission line project to strengthen the sewage network across various districts in Taif Governorate. The project includes areas like Al-Wesam, Eastern Ring, Bin Fatin districts, Al-Faisaliah, Al-Qumariyah, Northern and Southern Shuhada, Al-Bay'ah, Almaaredh, and Al-Washhaa.
Strategic Development Plans
This transmission line project cost over SAR202.3 million and extends more than 18 kilometers. NWC highlighted that these projects are part of strategic plans to enhance life quality and service standards while expanding coverage in beneficiary districts.
