National Transformation Program Showcases Achievements At Saudi National Day Events In Osaka, Japan

The National Transformation Program (NTP) participated in a panel discussion during the Saudi pavilion’s National Day celebrations in Osaka, Japan. This event was part of the Expo 2025 Osaka activities. Eng. Fawaz Al-Rabeh, CEO of NTP, spoke about the program's role in advancing Saudi Vision 2030 through over 300 initiatives. These initiatives are evaluated using 80 local and international performance indicators.

Al-Rabeh highlighted NTP's achievements in digital transformation, which helped Saudi Arabia rank sixth globally on the UN E-Government Development Index for 2024. He also discussed the development of infrastructure to support various sectors' growth and prosperity. The program has significantly contributed to the nonprofit sector and volunteerism, achieving the vision's goal of one million annual volunteers six years early.

On women's empowerment, Al-Rabeh noted reforms and support programs that have increased female participation in the workforce. By the end of 2024, women made up 35.5% of the workforce and held over 44% of managerial roles. These efforts reflect significant progress towards gender equality in employment.

The number of nonprofit organizations has grown by more than 288% since the vision's launch. This growth is part of NTP's broader efforts to enhance community engagement and social responsibility across Saudi Arabia.

NTP has also focused on improving legislative and regulatory frameworks to boost private sector growth. By enhancing business conditions, small and medium enterprises exceeded 1.5 million by late 2024. These changes have created a more dynamic business environment conducive to entrepreneurship.

The program introduced reforms that made Saudi Arabia an attractive investment destination. As a result, investor satisfaction with their investment journey reached 89% by the end of 2024. Additionally, over 14,000 investment licenses were issued throughout that year.

Engaging with these diverse sectors demonstrates NTP's commitment to fostering sustainable economic development aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
