Spanning two days, the forum is set to host a series of panel discussions featuring officials from diverse environmental organizations across the globe. Moreover, attendees will examine successful afforestation models, uncover investment opportunities within the sector, and discuss recent developments. A key focus of the forum is to underscore the collaborative efforts of the public, private, and non-profit sectors towards realizing the ambitious Saudi Green Initiative goal of planting 10 billion trees. By bringing together a multitude of stakeholders from various sectors, it aims to facilitate a comprehensive approach to combating desertification and promoting vegetation cover across the nation. This collaborative effort is crucial for achieving the objectives set forth by the Saudi Green Initiative and underscores the kingdom's commitment to environmental sustainability.
As the forum progresses, it is expected that these discussions will pave the way for innovative solutions and strategies in afforestation and environmental conservation.
