National CSR Fund And Authority Of Social Contribution Collaborate To Drive Social Innovation In UAE
The National CSR Fund - MAJRA and the Authority of Social Contribution - Ma’an have partnered to enhance social innovation through the Ma’an Social Incubator (MSI) programme and the Zuleya initiative. This collaboration aims to strengthen national social partnerships by providing innovative solutions that meet community needs.
Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Vice Chairman of MAJRA’s Board of Trustees, highlighted the importance of this partnership. He stated, "This move contributes to the enhancement of collaborative efforts aimed at encouraging social innovation and sustaining impactful projects and programmes, all while empowering the community-focused work system."

The MSI programme is committed to supporting social entrepreneurs and initiatives with significant societal impact. It creates an environment conducive to developing projects that address community priorities. Additionally, it raises awareness about the role of social initiatives in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Meanwhile, the Zuleya initiative focuses on enriching cultural and artistic awareness within the community through workshops and art exhibitions. It aims to revitalise Emirati heritage and promote national identity. Both initiatives have received the Verification stamp for aligning with UAE national priorities and SDGs.
Abdulla Humaid Al Ameri, Director General of Ma’an, stressed their commitment to delivering sustainable solutions for social priorities. He said, "We empower individuals and industries to support initiatives that improve quality of life and promote social integration by allowing companies with social objectives to actively participate in these initiatives."
This collaboration underscores both parties' dedication to achieving national goals outlined in the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision. It strengthens government and community sectors' roles in promoting sustainable development.
Technical Support for Community Projects
The partnership will provide technical and logistical support for social, cultural, and artistic projects. The focus is on creating a positive and sustainable impact on Emirati society. Projects will be continuously evaluated and refined to maximise effectiveness.
