National Competitiveness Center's Istitlaa Platform Opens 30 Projects For Public Feedback And Engagement

The National Competitiveness Center's platform, Istitlaa, has unveiled 30 projects focused on economic and development matters. This initiative involves collaboration with 12 government bodies, allowing stakeholders to provide feedback before final approval. These projects aim to enhance transparency and foster a culture of consultation among the public, government entities, and the private sector.

The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites is working on the "Urban Manual for Healthcare Services in the Central Area of Makkah Al-Mukarramah." This project seeks to create a comprehensive guide that includes standards and guidelines for planning and designing healthcare services in Makkah's central area.

Istitlaa Platform Launches 30 Public Projects

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has proposed new licensing requirements for service providers catering to Umrah performers and visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque from outside Saudi Arabia. This proposal outlines the necessary conditions to obtain a license for offering these services.

The General Authority for Statistics has introduced the "Executive Regulations for the Statistics Law." This project aims to clarify how the law's provisions are applied, including procedures for statistical licensing, data collection controls, cooperation with public entities, and rules governing data availability.

The Real Estate General Authority has put forward regulations to address violations between landlords and tenants. These regulations aim to organize mechanisms for rectifying such violations, ensuring compliance and stability in landlord-tenant relationships.

In cybersecurity, the National Cybersecurity Authority has proposed rules for detecting and investigating cybersecurity-related violations. These rules aim to regulate how such violations are identified and investigated under the authority’s legal powers.

Engaging Stakeholders

By presenting draft laws and regulations through Istitlaa, Saudi Arabia aims to involve various stakeholders in shaping projects related to its business environment. This approach promotes transparency in legislative processes by engaging public input alongside government entities and private sectors.
