National Bonds Introduces Ahed Programme To Empower Emirati Women With Financial Security
National Bonds has introduced the "Ahed Programme," a savings initiative tailored for Emirati women. Launched on Emirati Women's Day, this programme aims to provide a financial cushion for unexpected expenses like urgent healthcare or sudden repairs. The goal is to empower 10,000 women in its first year by offering flexible savings options and practical tools.
The "Ahed Programme" is more than just a savings plan; it represents a significant social and economic investment in Emirati women's roles as key contributors to national development. It provides flexible savings plans suited to various income levels, educational workshops on financial planning, and easy registration through the National Bonds mobile app.

Rehab Lootah, Deputy Group CEO of National Bonds, stated, "Emirati women place their families’ wellbeing above all, striving to ensure their comfort and security first. With this in mind, we designed ‘Ahed Programme’ to be more than just a savings account - it is an emergency fund that grants women reassurance and confidence, making them more prepared for any situation life may bring, while knowing their future is in their hands. This initiative is not merely about money, it is about peace of mind, protecting those we love, and building a more secure and stable future."
The programme offers numerous benefits tailored specifically for Emirati women. Participants can join the company's annual rewards scheme with AED36 million in prizes. This includes over 12,000 rewards for Emirati women annually, more than 24,000 rewards for regular savers each year, and monthly cash prizes of AED1,000 for ten winners.
In addition to financial incentives, the programme educates participants on essential financial principles. One such principle is the emergency preparedness formula. This formula advises maintaining a reserve equal to six months' worth of expenses. It provides a clear path for women to build a safety net that covers essential needs for half a year.
Building Financial Security
This initiative underscores National Bonds' dedication to supporting women's roles in family and community stability. By equipping them with knowledge and resources, the programme ensures they are better prepared for life's uncertainties. The focus is on creating peace of mind by safeguarding loved ones and securing a stable future.
The "Ahed Programme" reflects National Bonds' commitment to empowering women financially while reinforcing their importance in societal development. Through education and flexible savings plans, it aims to enhance women's ability to manage unforeseen financial challenges effectively.
