National Aerospace Strategy Emphasised By Industry Ministry At Paris Air Show 2025

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is participating in the 55th Paris Air Show 2025, taking place from June 16 to 22. This event includes key players from Saudi Arabia's industrial and mineral resources sectors, such as the National Industrial Development Center and MODON. The ministry's pavilion highlights the National Aerospace Strategy and various programs designed to boost this crucial industry.

At the Paris Air Show, the ministry aims to attract advanced technologies and localize strategic aerospace industries, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. The event underscores Saudi Arabia's growing industrial capabilities and its dedication to a sustainable, diversified economy. This participation also reflects efforts to enhance local talent and draw global investment.

Industry Ministry Highlights Aerospace Strategy

During the show, a Saudi–French Roundtable was held, gathering major French aerospace firms, senior executives, and over 65 representatives from both nations' public and private sectors. The ministry presented the National Aerospace Strategy, emphasizing its goals and enablers while expressing ambitions to become a regional aerospace hub.

The Paris Air Show is one of the largest events in the aerospace sector globally. This year's edition features over 2,500 exhibitors from 46 countries. It draws thousands of professionals from civil and military aerospace fields, including defense and space sectors. Additionally, there are 300 startups from 21 countries participating.

On the sidelines of the show, ministry representatives visited Airbus' commercial aircraft manufacturing facility in Toulouse. This visit aimed to explore advancements in aircraft production and discuss potential areas for collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Airbus.

The ministry's involvement at the air show highlights ongoing efforts to increase strategic industries' contributions to national GDP. It also emphasizes strengthening local talent while attracting global investments.
