Najran Industrial City Emerges As A Key Hub For Manufacturing And Investment In Saudi Arabia

Najran Industrial City is rapidly becoming a key investment hub in Saudi Arabia. Its strategic location, rich natural resources, and strong infrastructure are major attractions. The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has developed this area, which is about 45 kilometers northeast of Najran City. Covering 6.5 million square meters, over 3.6 million square meters are already developed.

The industrial city hosts 90 factories, with 29 located within its boundaries. These factories span various sectors such as food production, chemicals, plastics, paper, and non-metallic minerals like marble and granite. They employ over 1,200 workers, including around 400 Saudi nationals. This reflects efforts to boost Saudization and provide jobs for local residents.

Najran Industrial City: A Growing Investment Hub

One of the city's significant advantages is its proximity to abundant mineral resources. The region contains 27 mining complexes covering more than 5,400 square kilometers. These areas are rich in gold, copper, iron, and ornamental stone. Additionally, there are reserve zones for copper and zinc spanning another 70 square kilometers.

Najran's industrial base has a strong export focus. Products from the city's factories reach over 25 countries worldwide. These include the United States, Germany, France, Korea, and neighbouring Gulf nations. Companies like Bin Harkil Group and Polystar have been crucial in expanding the global presence of Saudi-made goods.

The geological diversity in Najran offers substantial potential for downstream manufacturing industries. Materials such as granite, marble, and silica sand can be used to produce high-value industrial products. This contributes significantly to the Kingdom's industrial GDP.

The development projects completed in Najran Industrial City support its growing industrial sector. The infrastructure enhancements aim to attract more investments and facilitate business operations within the region.

Prominent companies have played vital roles in promoting Saudi products globally. Their efforts particularly impact sectors like plastics, metals, and marble.

The strategic location of Najran Industrial City enhances its appeal as an investment destination. Its proximity to vast mineral resources provides opportunities for industries reliant on raw materials.
