Najah Dubai 2025 Unites Over 100 Global Universities To Enhance Emirati Students' Academic Choices

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, officially opened "Najah Dubai 2025." This prominent higher education fair in the UAE is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre until 7th October. The event features over 100 universities from more than 20 countries, showcasing some of the world's top educational institutions.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research strategically supports this year's edition to prepare Emirati students for the workforce. This partnership aims to promote informed academic choices based on future skills and national economic needs, aligning with the UAE's vision for a sustainable, industry-connected education system.

Najah Dubai 2025 Connects Students with Universities

This year's Najah stands out due to its international diversity and focus on experiential engagement. Universities from North America, Europe, Asia, and the MENA region are participating, many for the first time in the UAE. Students have access to a wide range of programmes in fields like medical sciences, communication, and technology.

The event aligns with the UAE's national education strategy by emphasising digital literacy, technical skills, entrepreneurship support, innovation promotion, and sustainability principles. The Ministry's backing reflects its commitment to expanding international academic partnerships and empowering Emirati students to access top global universities.

Building on last year's success, Najah 2025 offers an immersive platform for exploring higher education advancements. Students can engage in career-mapping workshops, attend seminars on innovative academic programmes, and gain insights from panel discussions with educators and industry experts. These sessions connect academic pathways with real-world relevance.

Dima Al Sadi, Najah Event Director, highlighted the student-focused approach: "At Najah, our approach is deeply student-focused...The energy is great — there's real curiosity about what the future holds." Al Sadi stressed that meaningful conversations and hands-on experiences define Najah's uniqueness.

Future-Ready Launchpad

Najah positions itself as a launchpad for future-ready students by combining academic discovery with career planning tools. Real-time mentorship and direct access to global institutions enhance its role beyond a traditional education fair. Additional sessions provide guidance on scholarships and funding opportunities.

The opening day saw active participation in live consultations and seminar sessions. Families explored academic pathways aligning with their teens' ambitions while making use of diverse offerings. The event's global representation underscores Dubai's growing role as an educational crossroads.

Regional Expansion Plans

The Dubai edition marks the beginning of a regional expansion planned by organisers this year. Following Dubai's event is Najah Abu Dhabi from 19th to 21st October 2025 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Subsequently, Najah Doha will take place at Qatar National Convention Centre from 15th to 17th November 2025.

The event witnessed a record turnout of students, parents, and advisors eager to explore new academic programmes amid rapid technological changes worldwide. The collaboration aims to introduce students to emerging disciplines shaping the knowledge economy like AI, data analytics, health sciences, and advanced technology.
