Nahyan Bin Mubarak Highlights UAE's Tourism Initiatives At Arabian Travel Market 2025
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the 32nd Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 at Dubai World Trade Centre. This event is a major platform for the tourism industry, featuring over 2,800 exhibitors from 166 countries. It is expected to draw more than 55,000 visitors from the travel and tourism sector.
During his visit, Sheikh Nahyan explored various pavilions showcasing regional and global tourism initiatives. At the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi pavilion, he learned about new cultural and heritage projects that align with the UAE's vision of promoting tolerance and cultural diversity.
The Emirates Airline pavilion was another stop on Sheikh Nahyan's tour. Here, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum welcomed him and introduced the airline's latest innovations aimed at enhancing passenger experiences and its plans for international expansion. The airline continues to play a significant role in connecting the UAE with the world.
Sheikh Nahyan also visited the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism pavilion. This showcased Dubai’s strategic initiatives supporting the "Dubai Economic Agenda D33." These efforts aim to strengthen Dubai's position as a leading global destination for both tourism and business.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pavilion highlighted developments under the "Saudi Spirit" programme. Sheikh Nahyan reviewed national strategies focused on transforming Saudi Arabia into a top sustainable travel destination by leveraging its diverse natural and cultural resources.
In Sharjah, Sheikh Nahyan visited the Commerce and Tourism Development Authority pavilion. He was briefed on Sharjah’s efforts to promote its rich cultural and environmental heritage, reinforcing its status as a hub for cultural and family tourism in the region.
Innovative Hospitality Trends
The visit included several hotel group pavilions where Sheikh Nahyan learned about current hospitality trends. These trends focus on providing sustainable guest experiences tailored to modern travelers' needs. The emphasis is on innovation in hospitality services to meet evolving demands.
Sheikh Nahyan expressed his admiration for the diverse initiatives presented at ATM 2025. He stated, "The UAE’s continued success in the tourism sector is a reflection of the ambitious vision and wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai."
Commitment to International Cooperation
He further commented on the importance of international cooperation in tourism development: "I am pleased to be here at this important international event, which clearly demonstrates the UAE’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation and developing the tourism sector as a pillar of the national economy."
Sheikh Nahyan concluded his visit by thanking organisers led by Dubai World Trade Centre for their efforts in delivering this prestigious event. He noted that it showcases UAE’s positive image globally.
This year’s Arabian Travel Market focuses on "Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship," emphasising cross-border collaboration for an inclusive travel industry. The exhibition features three main content theatres: Global Stage, Future Stage, and Business Events Stage, exploring trends shaping travel's future.
