Nahyan Bin Mubarak And Uzbek Delegation Discuss Enhancing Cooperation For Tolerance And Development
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, recently hosted a high-level delegation from Uzbekistan. The group was led by Ruslan Davletov, the President’s Advisor on Socio-Political, Religious-Educational and Youth Affairs. The meeting took place at Sheikh Nahyan's Majlis in Abu Dhabi and included several Uzbek officials.
During the discussions, Sheikh Nahyan praised the strong ties between the UAE and Uzbekistan. He highlighted the UAE's dedication to enhancing global partnerships under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership. Emphasising cultural exchange, he noted its role in promoting tolerance and global peace.
The Uzbek delegation comprised notable figures such as Akbar Tashkulov, Minister of Justice; Nigmatulla Yuldashev, Prosecutor-General; Abdulaziz Akkulov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UAE; M.Allakuliev from the Ministry of Justice; and A.Maxmudov from the General Prosecutor's Office. Discussions centred on cooperation in tolerance, coexistence, and sustainable development.
Both parties explored ways to enhance collaboration while reviewing regional and international developments of mutual interest. They exchanged views on key global issues, aiming to expand their partnership further. This dialogue underscored their shared commitment to fostering mutual understanding.
Ruslan Davletov expressed gratitude for the warm reception by Sheikh Nahyan. He acknowledged the UAE's significant influence in regional and global matters. Davletov also affirmed Uzbekistan's eagerness to strengthen existing partnerships with the UAE and explore new opportunities aligned with both nations' interests.
At the meeting's conclusion, both sides reiterated their commitment to deepening bilateral relations. They expressed a desire to embark on a new phase of collaboration across various fields. This ambition aligns with their shared vision for a more prosperous and sustainable future.
