Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Receives Special Recognition From Global Sikh Community For Promoting Tolerance

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, received a special award at his Majlis in Abu Dhabi. This recognition from the global Sikh community acknowledges his significant work in promoting tolerance, coexistence, and cultural diversity. The award was presented by Dr. Navdeep Singh Bansal, founder of the Sikh Awards, alongside Surender Singh Kandhari, Chairman of the Guru Nanak Darbar Temple in Jebel Ali. Sheikh Nahyan expressed gratitude for this honour and highlighted that it reflects the UAE's leadership in promoting interfaith dialogue and universal human values.

In his acceptance speech, Sheikh Nahyan emphasised the UAE's dedication to nurturing values of tolerance under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Nahyan further noted that these principles are a priority for the nation. The UAE has become a global model for these values by strengthening universal principles across all nations regardless of religion or culture. His Highness has taught them to embody these ideals globally.
