Nahyan Bin Mubarak Opens Expo-Sciences International 2025 In Abu Dhabi With Global Participation
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, has officially opened the Expo-Sciences International (ESI) 2025 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. This event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The inauguration was attended by several dignitaries and officials from around the world.
The event is organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET). It brings together over 2,000 participants from more than 45 countries. Young talents are showcasing innovative projects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) across Halls 7–10 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director-General of ACTVET, expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his support. He stated that this global event reflects the leadership's vision to bolster technical education and empower youth to use science for humanity's benefit. "Expo-Sciences International is an inspiring platform that unites young talents from across the globe under one roof in Abu Dhabi to exchange ideas and present groundbreaking innovations that will help shape a knowledge-based future," he said.
The Advanced Technology Research Council supports ESI 2025 as a Platinum Sponsor. EDGE Group is a Gold Sponsor, while the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi serves as Cultural Partner and Tourism Destination. The Abu Dhabi Media Network acts as Media Partner, with Higher Colleges of Technology as Academic Partner.
Participants can engage in scientific seminars, interactive workshops, and cultural activities designed to broaden their horizons. These activities aim to foster collaboration between academic and research institutions worldwide. ESI 2025 offers an inspiring scientific experience intended to prepare a new generation of scientists capable of addressing future challenges.
The event runs until 1st October at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. It provides a platform for emerging talents to showcase their innovations in STEAM fields. This initiative aims to inspire participants and visitors alike by highlighting groundbreaking projects that contribute to a knowledge-based future.
Among those attending were Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State; Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs; Khalfan Abdulla Khalfan Al Mansoori from Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Centre; Mahmoud Salem Alalawi from Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority; along with other senior officials.
