Nahyan Bin Mubarak Celebrates Graduation Of 31st Cohort At Abu Dhabi International Private School
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the graduation ceremony for the 31st batch of students from Abu Dhabi International Private School (AIS). The event took place at the school's auditorium in Mohammed Bin Zayed City. A total of 159 students graduated, with 70 having been part of AIS since kindergarten, showcasing the school's dedication to long-term educational growth.
In his speech, Sheikh Nahyan praised the graduates for their accomplishments and highlighted AIS's role in promoting values like tolerance and coexistence within a diverse learning environment. "You are fortunate to have studied in this country, where equal opportunities are offered to all," he stated. "AIS has consistently placed its students at the centre of every effort, preparing them for a future defined by knowledge and guided by wisdom."
Sheikh Nahyan expressed gratitude towards Jihan Nasr, the school's director, along with the faculty and staff for their dedication to academic excellence. He also thanked parents for their support and partnership throughout their children's education journey. He emphasised the importance of education under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership, who prioritises preparing future generations.
He urged graduates to advance with purpose, uphold their values, and contribute positively to society. "Let your journey be guided by excellence and continuous learning. May you remain proud ambassadors of this school," he concluded.
Jihan Nasr, Founder and General Director of AIS, addressed attendees with a message filled with pride and optimism. "Today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, as you move into a future filled with both challenges and opportunities," she remarked. She noted that this celebration is not just about achievements but also about a generation ready to lead with knowledge and passion.
Nasr emphasised innovation's importance and ethical technology use. "Artificial intelligence is a tool in your hands—use it to build a better, more sustainable world. Let knowledge and conscience guide your choices." She encouraged students to let their steps be directed by light and purpose.
Concluding her address, she expressed confidence in the graduates' abilities. "I believe in you. Let your steps be guided by light and purpose. Learning doesn’t end here; it begins a new journey. Go forward with confidence, knowledge and values to help build a better tomorrow."
