Nahyan Bin Mubarak Highlights The Pivotal Role Of ADIBF In Enriching UAE’s Educational And Cultural Landscape
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the 2025 Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF). The event took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 26th April to 5th May. Held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the fair highlights the UAE's cultural prominence.
During his visit, Sheikh Nahyan explored various cultural exhibits, including the UAE Pavilion. This pavilion highlights Emirati literary contributions to Arab culture. He praised the fair for enhancing the UAE's role as a global cultural hub. The event fosters creativity and knowledge exchange on an international scale.
The Minister also visited exhibits like the National Library of the UAE and the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre. He appreciated the wealth of knowledge presented, which encourages intercultural dialogue. This aligns with promoting coexistence and tolerance values. The fair's cultural programme supports publishing growth and creative industries.
Sheikh Nahyan noted that this 34th edition of ADIBF is a significant cultural event. It reflects a vibrant global cultural scene and supports the UAE’s vision of a knowledge-based society. He stated, "What we are witnessing today at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is a remarkable cultural momentum that stems from the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who believes that building a well-educated, knowledgeable citizen is the foundation of a prosperous future for our nation." This underscores efforts to make the UAE a global centre for culture and intellectual innovation.
