Dubai To Host The 11th Edition Of Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament This March
The eleventh edition of the Nad Al Sheba (NAS) Sports Tournament is set to commence on 11th March 2024, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This prestigious event, organized by the Dubai Sports Council during the Holy Month of Ramadan, will run until 31st March and showcase nine diverse sports disciplines. Participants and spectators can look forward to competitions in Volleyball, Padel, Jiu-Jitsu, Fencing, Wheelchair Basketball, Road Race, Cycling, Tug-of-War, and an Obstacle Challenge.
The tournament will kick off with the Padel Championship on 11th March, featuring top international players competing in Dubai until 30th March. This will be followed by a fencing tournament from 12th to 14th March and an Obstacle Challenge spanning from 14th to 21st March. The Road Race is scheduled for 16th March at the Meydan Track and will include both 5-km and 10-km races. Subsequent events include the Jiu-Jitsu Championship on 17th and 18th March, Wheelchair Basketball from 20th to 28th March, Cycling on 22nd and 23rd March, Volleyball from 22nd to 31st March, and concluding with Tug-of-War from 24th to 29th March.

Competitors in these events stand a chance to win part of the substantial cash prize pool totaling over AED3.6 million. The allocation of prizes across the disciplines is as follows: Volleyball winners will receive AED1.5 million, Cycling race winners AED500,000, Padel tournament winners over AED374,000, Road Race winners a total of AED325,000, Tug-of-War winners AED280,000, Obstacle Challenge winners AED265,000, Wheelchair Basketball winners AED210,000, Jiu-Jitsu winners AED150,000, and Fencing winners AED56,000.
