MWL Secretary-General Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, who also chairs the Association of Muslim Scholars, conveyed appreciation for the GCC Ministerial Council's recognition. The MWL statement highlighted that this acknowledgment reflects the GCC countries' commitment to fostering unity within the Islamic community, overcoming divisive challenges, and reinforcing a collective sense of belonging among Muslims.

Al-Issa emphasized the MWL's support for the GCC Ministerial Council's efforts during its 160th session. He particularly noted their stance on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Al-Issa extended his best wishes for their continued success in promoting regional stability, prosperity, and international peace.
