The publication underscores the Muslim Council of Elders’ dedication to promoting civil peace, resolving conflicts, and establishing lasting peace.

Dr. Adel Moussaoui highlighted that the book is part of African studies under the Al Hokama Centre's African Studies Programme. It represents collaborative efforts within this programme, affiliated with the Muslim Council of Elders. The work offers diverse intellectual frameworks and themes, proposing a new model for peacebuilding and development rooted in African identity.
The book employs an analytical approach that draws from local African elements. This method aims to provide insights into building peace by integrating cultural components unique to Africa. Such an approach seeks to enhance understanding and foster development across the continent.
