Muslim Council Of Elders Showcases Cultural Publications At Rabat International Book Fair 2025
The Muslim Council of Elders is taking part in the 30th Rabat International Book Fair from 17th to 27th April 2025. This participation aligns with its mission to promote peace, encourage dialogue and tolerance, and foster cooperation and coexistence. The pavilion will feature over 250 intellectual and cultural publications, including new releases from Al-Hokama Publishing for 2025.
At the Erbil International Book Fair, the Council's pavilion will focus on intra-Islamic dialogue. It will showcase works like "Conflict Management in the Muslim World" by Dr. Idris Qasim and "Issues of the Ummah’s Division into Sunni and Shia" by Dr. Ilyas Belka. These works address crucial topics within the Muslim community.

Translation plays a vital role in bridging civilizations for effective communication. The Muslim Council of Elders is committed to translating books that promote peace. This year, it presents translated works like "The Voice of Change," "Shared Global Values and the Making of International Peace," and others addressing Islamophobia in Europe.
The pavilion will also highlight more than 20 works by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders. His writings emphasize Islam's tolerance and intellectual richness. Titles include "Al Qawl Al Tayeb," "From My Old Notebooks," and "For the Sake of Peace."
Numerous cultural and intellectual activities will take place at the Rabat International Book Fair pavilion. These events will focus on promoting peace, human coexistence, dialogue values, and reinforcing unity within the Muslim world.
Significant publications featured include "Love in the Holy Qur’an" by Prince Ghazi Al-Hashemi, "The Pope and the Grand Imam: A Thorny Path" by Judge Mohammed Abdelsalam, and "Rules of Understanding and Mutual Comprehension in Thought and Language" by Dr. Mustafa Benhamza.
The pavilion will also present works such as "Muslims at a Crossroads" by Dr. Mahmoud Hamdi Zaqzouq and "Horizons of Mutual Recognition in Morocco and Andalusia" by Dr. Jaafar Ibn Al-Haj Al-Salami.
Additionally, translated publications like "Islam and Good Governance" by Prof. Dr. Muqtader Khan and "Islam, the West, and Tolerance: Realizing Coexistence" by Aaron Tyler will be available to visitors.
The Council's efforts at both fairs aim to highlight key issues such as peace promotion, human coexistence, dialogue values, unity reinforcement among Muslims worldwide.
