The Muslim Council of Elders is set to mark its presence at the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, scheduled from 29th April to 5th May 2024. With over 220 publications in five languages, the Council's pavilion is a hub for cultural and intellectual discourse. These publications cover a range of topics including dialogue, tolerance, coexistence, and peacebuilding. Notably, more than 30 works authored by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, will be featured. Additionally, new releases for 2024 by Al Hokama Publishing will be showcased, offering fresh perspectives on Islam's interaction with contemporary Western thought and peace management in the Muslim world.

The importance of translation in bridging civilizations is recognized through notable translated works such as "Religious Tolerance in the World Religions" and "Countering Islamophobia in Europe". These efforts aim to enhance constructive communication and understanding across cultures.

A series of seminars and lectures will complement the book fair's offerings, addressing critical issues like climate change, human fraternity, media's role against discrimination, and the significance of religious leadership in dialogue promotion. These discussions align with the Council's mission to support a harmonious global community.

In celebration of its tenth anniversary, the Council's pavilion will also feature a dedicated book-selling area, an Arabic calligraphy corner, and various entertainment and educational activities for children. This initiative reflects the Council's dedication to catering to the diverse interests of its visitors.

This year marks the sixth participation of the Muslim Council of Elders in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
