Musaned Platform Achieves Milestones In Domestic Worker Recruitment And Transparency In 2025

The Musaned platform, under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, is pivotal in reforming domestic worker recruitment in Saudi Arabia. In early 2025, it made notable progress by simplifying processes, safeguarding rights, and boosting transparency. This led to a significant rise in recruitment activities, with 417,000 transactions completed in the first half of the year.

To further regulate the market, Musaned facilitated domestic worker service transfers by providing over 604,000 CVs for re-employment within the Kingdom. Individual-to-individual transfer requests rose to 229,000, while establishment-to-individual requests reached 8,559. These figures highlight the platform's role in streamlining employment transitions.

Musaned Platform Enhances Worker Recruitment

The contract insurance service saw substantial growth as well. It benefited 345,000 employers, indicating a heightened awareness of contractual protection among users. Additionally, Musaned introduced a mandatory electronic salary transfer service to ensure financial security and transparency. The third phase of this mandate began in July for employers with three or more domestic workers.

The fourth phase will start in October for those employing two domestic workers. This phased approach aims to create a secure financial environment for all parties involved. The platform's efforts reflect its dedication to enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

Musaned has also focused on improving user experience by reducing the average arrival time for workers to 44 days—a decrease of 12.2% from 2024. The platform maintained high service levels by handling over 279,000 calls with an average response time of just 30 seconds.

In addition to calls, Musaned managed 18,000 live chats and responded to 29,000 in-app messages efficiently. It also resolved 129,000 technical support tickets with a satisfaction rate of 91%. These achievements underscore the ministry’s commitment to fostering a transparent and efficient recruitment environment.
